Scientific literature with the theme of insects in the practice of kindergarten

This master's thesis entitled "Utilization of educational literature on the topic of insects in the practice of preschool education" is divided into theoretical and empirical sections. The aim of the thesis is the development of scientific knowledge through the use of children's educational literature in the preschool environment. The theoretical section outlines the characteristics of preschool-aged children with respect to the topic of the thesis, issues related to environmental education in preschool education, characteristics of literature for children, utilization of educational books in preschools, and an analysis of the Framework Educational Program for Preschool Education in relation to the thesis topic. The objective of the empirical section is to create lessons using educational literature about insects that contribute to the development of scientific skills in children. Additionally, it seeks to determine the popularity of educational books about insects based on the age and gender of the children, as well as to map the reading environment of the children. The results of the practical part were verified based on pretest and posttest, participant observation of children, a questionnaire for parents of pupils, and activities aimed at assessing the popularity of books. Use of Autobiographical Motifs in Works of Edgar Dutka, Eliška Vlasáková and Antonín Bajaja

The work confronts prosaic pieces with noticeable autobiographical features. It deals namely with works of Edgar Dutka, Eliška Vlasáková and Antonín Bajaja. It was not a coincidence to choose right these three Czech authors. They have quite a few features in common. They all belong to the same generation. They are born in the 40's of the 20th century, so they have spent an essential part of their lives (childhood, adolescence and substantial part of their working age) in the second half of the 20th century - in the time of political convulsions and social changes. A childhood spent during this period has become their common literary theme. They all make their memories a literary piece. Each of them does it in a different way and with a different amount of accuracy. Their inspiration comes from their real life, from their memories. The next common feature of these three authors is that they all wrote some of their texts without a vision to make them public. They wrote them for themselves. Book editions were carried out after the year 2000. Last but not least mutual fact is that all of these three authors have been nominated for a prestigious literary price. Non-fiction literature in Czech online media in years 2015 to 2018

This bachelor's thesis focuses on non-fiction literature in Czech online media during years 2015 to 2018. Objective of this thesis is to look if, and how, is non-fiction literature present in Czech online media. To accomplish this objective, analysis of popular Czech digital journalism websites is carried out alongside the use of two popular search engines from Google.cz and Seznam,cz. Besides this main objective, the unique variant of non-fiction literature specific for Czech Republic, the so-called "literatura faktu" or "literature of (a) fact(s)", is better defined both as a concept and as a term. Chapters 1 to 3 are striving to find a better definition of non-fiction literature in Czech Republic, but they also concentrate on history of non-fiction in Czechia and Czechoslovakia and on its differences and similarities with Anglo-Saxon and international non-fiction. Fourth chapter of the thesis focuses on analysis and methodology used to find relevant research results. The fifth, sixth and seventh chapters are thoroughly investigating Czech internet to find results for non-fiction literature, while the eight chapter is summarizing all found information. The publisihing house's profile : grada

After 1989 publishing business opened for new subjects. One of them is Grada Publishing, a. s., which celebrated the 20th anniversary of its successful activity on the Czech market in 2011. Grada focuses on non-fiction and professional literature on the book market and is ranked as one of the five most productive subjects with more than three hundred books a year. This bachelor thesis concentrates on description and analysis. It presents collected information about the publishing house's formation and development; primarily it deals with the changes in the catalogue of publications in the set period of two decades. A short summary of the discipline's history offers the opportunity to compare it with the modern shape of publishing profession. Grada started with computer literature. Computers and the Internet are said to be stealing readers. The thesis also deals with the response of the publishing house to new possibilities of publicity and distribution of books (Internet, e-books). Further, it focuses on an overview of the current state where emphasis is put on thematic categories and editions and their evaluation.
